sweetie tooth.

since this is my blog and i can decide what to put on here, i will honestly admit that i do not have a large sweet tooth. i prefer dark, bitter chocolate over its milk counterpart and the idea of a white sugary frosting scares me at best.

but, i will say that many friends & family have quite the knack for all things sweet. and given that it is a long weekend, this means i need to whip up some delicious treats for the cottage. baked goods are such a joy to make, and even nicer to receive. there is nothing like preparing some homemade goodies and giving them away in a vintage tin.

for simple recipes that are also esthetically pleasing, i naturally ventured here…now the question lies: do i make the caramels or the cookies?
