Burgundy Brick Presents ‘Build The Future’ 2012

Happy Thursday Littles!

I have been going non-stop this week. Between the boyfriend’s birthday, work & summer wrap up and my volunteer commitments, I think it’s safe to accept that I skipped my morning workout in lieu of rest.

Despite all the craziness, I am thrilled that all of this hard work ends in celebration, this Saturday, when our annual Burgundy Brick Foundation fundraiser, Build The Future, comes to life in Toronto. The Burgundy Brick Foundation is a not-for-profit youth organization that hosts third party events in support of larger foundations in the city. You can read more about some of our work here.

I mentioned last week that we’ve been working around the clock to get prepped for the event and I am delighted to finally share some details with you:

  • Burgundy Brick Foundation Presents: Build The Future 2012
  • Saturday August 25, 2012 at 9:30 PM
  • Storys Building, 11 Duncan Street
  • Tickets: $60 in support of Habitat For Humanity Toronto

This year we are so fortunate to hold our annual event at the Storys Building which has hosted some of Toronto’s most exclusive parties and will no doubt be a celeb favourite during the Toronto International Film Festival in a couple weeks (maybe I should just camp outside in hopes of seeing Ryan Gosling). This building is stunning inside with high ceilings, rustic wood beams and beautiful French windows that make you feel like you’ve entered a different time. They are graciously catering as well and I can assure you, the food will not disappoint.

Be sure to pair you hors d’oeuvres with a glass of complimentary vino, thanks to our amazing wine sponsor, STLTO Wine. If you’ve read my blog herehere, or here, you know that it’s the perfect fit for a dolled up Saturday night.

If you’re in the city, I hope you can make it out for what’s sure to be an incredible night. All of the details will be captured by our media sponsor, Notable.ca and so you definitely do not want to miss out.

Tickets are available here or you can send me an email at alexn(at)burgundybrick(dot)org and I can help you get your hands on a pair or two.
